BEVERLY'S CUSTOM UTILITY CART
This is a sculpture I've been working on for months now. I will be chipping away at it for many more months to come. These miniature pieces are incredibly time consuming so it's a very slow process.
The prop belongs to a character from a personal project I've been working on for a few years. It has inspired traditional art and now sculpture as the look target is very hand made. What better way to design for the look than making it by hand.
Beverly is a local, found object artist who uses her customized utility cart to search for scraps and parts around town.
The sculpture itself is as much a found object art piece as well. I've been collecting bits and pieces and random things to create unique details and produce authentic looking miniatures. Not to mention clearing out the shelves of Michaels and Home Depot.
A scroll saw has recently been added to my work bench, compliments of my dad who will be showing me how to use it!
